Late Mrs Suchinta Khorana (1932 – 2017)

The foundation of the Shishu Niketan‑22 Public School, Nayagaon branch was inspired by the visionary efforts of Mrs. Suchinta Khorana, whose lifelong dedication to education shaped a centre of academic excellence, discipline and strong moral values. The Nayagaon branch strives to carry forward her legacy by providing a caring, inclusive and progressive learning environment where young learners are encouraged to grow into confident, responsible and compassionate individuals.

This branch is an extension of the mother institute, Shishu Niketan Model Senior Secondary School, which remains committed to Mrs. Khorana’s ideals, evolving with time while preserving its core principles of service, integrity and holistic development. Her belief that education should nurture both intellect and character continues to guide the philosophy of the entire institution.
